BEHIND THE WHEEL

Behind the wheel lessons are available to first-time drivers to obtain a valid Learner’s permit. The course includes six hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons. Sessions are broken into three lessons of two hours each. Upon receipt of required paperwork, we will conduct a vision exam (in our office) and obtain the student’s permit from the DMV.
16 YEAR-OLD STUDENTS
STEPS TO REGISTER:
* Print and fill out contract (Click here)
* Print and fill out NJMVC Student Learner’s Permit Form (Click here)
* Deliver the following to Teachers Driving School
* Completed contract (above)
* Completed NJMVC Student Learner’s Permit Form (above)
* Original birth certificate or signed passport
* Proof of Knowledge Test if passed in high school – print a hard copy of the web receipt including the bar code (this was emailed to your child from the NJMVC)
* $100 deposit (cash or checks made payable to Teachers Driving School)
17 YEAR-OLD STUDENTS

* Print and fill out NJMVC Parent or Guardian Consent Form (Click here)
* Deliver the following to Teachers Driving School
* Completed contract (above)
* Completed NJMVC Student Application for permit (above)
* Completed Parent or Guardian Consent Form (above)
* Original birth certificate or signed passport
* Original Social Security Card
* Proof of Knowledge Test if passed in high school – print a hard copy of the web receipt including the bar code (this was emailed to your child from the NJMVC)
* $100 deposit (cash or checks made payable to Teachers Driving School)
ITEMS ABOVE CAN BE:
* Delivered to our office Monday - Friday between the hours of 10:00am-3:00pm.
